Swedish Massage

Swedish massage involves the use of hands, forearms or elbows to manipulate the superficial layers of the muscles to improve mental and physical health. The therapist applies long gliding strokes, friction, and kneading and tapping movements on the soft tissues of the body. Active or passive movement of the joints may also be part of the massage. The benefits of Swedish massage include increased blood circulation, mental and physical relaxation , decreased stress and muscle tension, and improved range of motion
Hot Stones

A hot stone massage is a type of therapy that uses smooth, heated stones to provide warmth and relax the muscles. During the treatment, the therapist places the hot stones on specific points along your body, known as acupressure points, to promote relaxation and relieve tension. Additionally, the therapist may also use the stones as an extension of their hands, applying gentle pressure and gliding the stones along your muscles; this combination of heat and pressure helps to ease muscle stiffness, improve circulation, and calm the mind.
Cupping

Cupping therapy is an ancient form of alternative medicine in which a therapist puts special cups on your skin for a few minutes to create suction. People get it for many purposes, including to help with pain, inflammation, blood flow, relaxation and well-being, and as a type of deep-tissue massage.
Cupping therapy might be trendy now, but it’s not new. It dates back to ancient Egyptian, Chinese, and Middle Eastern cultures. One of the oldest medical textbooks in the world, the Ebers Papyrus, describes how the ancient Egyptians used cupping therapy in 1,550 B.C.
Aromatherapy

To aid in relaxation during your treatment, scents are added into the air. Sometimes In use plant based oil directly on skin as well.
*Please let me know, prior to your appointment, if you have any allergies, sensitivities, or special requests.
Aromatherapy activates areas in your nose called smell receptors, which send messages through your nervous system to your brain.
The oils may activate certain areas of your brain, like your limbic system, which plays a role in your emotions. They could also have an impact on your hypothalamus, which may respond to the oil by creating feel-good brain chemicals like serotonin.
Some experts think that when you put essential oils on your skin, they cause a response in your skin and other parts of your body, like your joints.
Deep Tissue

Deep tissue massage is a type of massage technique which uses deep pressure. Combining slow strokes and notable finger pressure, the purpose is to release the tension and tightness held deeply in your muscles and your connective tissues. A deep tissue massage will typically focus on your primary areas of discomfort.
Sports (Injury) Massage

Sports massages is the process of using soft tissue manipulation to help treat acute or chronic injuries. This discipline has long been used as a means of rehabilitation and recovery for athletes who are suffering from injuries, pain or discomfort. However the same technique also works for any old or new injuries regardless of how you got them.
